Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how The Hills International (“we”, “us”), operator of The Hills Intelligence System (“THISystem”, the “Service”), handles information when you use our mobile app and website. THISystem is a members-only market-analysis tool.

Information we collect

• Your request for access — the name and email address you give us when you apply, together with the phone number, the name of whoever referred you, and any message, if you choose to add them. Applying does not create an account; we keep these details so we can contact you about your request and review it.
• Account information — your email address and name, held once access is granted.
• Content you provide — the messages you send to the in-app AI assistant, the chart images you upload or photograph for analysis, and, if you use voice input, the audio recording of your spoken question.
• Device & technical data — a push-notification token (only if you enable notifications), your app version, device model and OS version, and standard server logs such as IP address and timestamps, used for security, rate-limiting and reliability.
• Preferences — settings such as language, timezone, theme and your watchlist.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your browsing history from other apps, health data, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party advertising and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the Service; to generate AI analysis in response to your questions and uploaded charts; to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to send the notifications you choose to enable; to maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Service; and to comply with applicable law.

AI processing and service providers

To run the Service we rely on trusted providers that process limited data on our behalf:

• Authentication — an identity provider manages sign-in and your credentials.
• AI analysis — the messages, chart images, and any voice recordings you submit are sent to third-party AI model providers solely to generate the analysis you request. Voice recordings are used only to transcribe your question and are not stored as audio.
• Hosting & delivery — cloud infrastructure providers host the app and data, and Apple delivers push notifications.
• Market & economic data — we obtain prices, charts and calendar data from third-party market-data sources.

These providers are permitted to use the data only to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Permissions we request

Camera and Photos (only so you can submit a chart for analysis), Microphone (only for voice questions), Face ID / biometrics (only to lock the app on your device — biometric data never leaves your device and is handled by iOS), and Notifications (only if you enable them). You can change these at any time in iOS Settings.

Data retention

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account), which removes your account. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile in the app, delete your account in the app, and control camera, photo, microphone and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Subject to applicable law, you may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Please do not use the Service if you are under 18.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. We take steps to protect it consistent with this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email.
